Well we have being assigned to write a blogpost for our teen life project. You might have read what it is about on Mr. Fisher’s blog post. If you haven’t heard of it our class and 3 others from all different places from east to west north and south are coming together to discuss our teenagers concerns about our nations. So I have to talk a little about my self and what some of my concerns are.
Well to start of my name is Elaine, whom you probably know if you’ve linked of Mr. Fishers site and it is under my other blogposts. I am 13 turning 14 in a few months (June 4th). I love animals, doing art, making and designing clothes, summer, swimming at the beach, figure skating, hanging out with my friends, my family and strawberry ice cream. I love the snow to a lot of people hate it, but I love it I also like winter. Except for those minus 40 temperatures, yes it can get very cold here.
I have a lot of concerns about a lot of different things. I like that we are discussing our concerns with other teenagers the same age as us. From different areas around the world. We really never discuss a lot of our concerns or issues among our towns; cities, nations and world wide, and I think it is important that we do discuss these things that we don’t really do often. I would say one of the issues that concern me the most among my community would be drugs and smoking. There are more illegal drugs being used then there should be. Know that crystal meth has being exposed to our town it is important that people are informed. Also the more known legal drug tobacco is a concern to me. It is very common and harmful. The reason why this is a concern to me is because so much money is lost and it is addictive and ones you start to do it its hard to go anywhere with out it and it is harmful to you family and loved ones around you. Over all drugs are controlling, and is that what people want, for something to control your life? What concerns you?
Thanks for reading,
Elaine

Hello readers,
Just thought I would write a small blog posts letting you know what I have being up to. I just finished making brownies. They were delicious, but I think I ate to many because know my tummy hurts L. I took all my loose papers home so I can get them organized because once again exams are coming up very soon. I like that Mr. Fisher gave us a calendar to write down what exams are on what day and when would be a good time to have every thing organized, also what would be a good time to start specializing our studying and then to fill in the gaps. I also like how he gives out sheets saying what’s going to be on the exams. It can’t get much easier then that. We also discussed the best techniques to use while studying.
The best results we got for studying from our discussion are listed below:
- Read over notes, tests, assignments and textbooks.
- Take notes for yourself.
- Make questions and tests (redo old ones.)
- Memorize what you need to know
- Teach someone else (it will increase your memory.)
- Constant studying 45-50 minutes at a time. Don’t forget to take 10-15 minute breaks otherwise if you cram all the information all in all at once you will be sure to forget it.
That’s all for today and thanks for reading.

Hello,
I have deleted all my old posts and I have decided to start over and write more often that is one of my New Year resolutions. Now that I have brought up new years I hope you all had a good holiday and new years.
We have just being told about how we are going to do and spend our social studies classes for a while and I am excited to get started. To tell you the truth though I have no idea what to do. I thought I could do a model of a common street would look like in the time of the renaissance times since we are doing our projects on he time of the renaissances. Although I can not do this because when we were doing feudal Europe before we started science class in social studies I had done models of mythical creatures of feudal times out of clay. So I am a little stumped of what I am going to do but I will just have to do a little thinking.
Oh I would also like to recommend you to watch a video by Jordan Maxwell. They are extremely interesting and will get you thinking and are in someway shocking and you may not think it is true but it may shock you. You can find some of his videos on google video all you have to do is type in his name.
That’s it for know, thanks for reading.
